Plan, manage and oversee activities for assigned program areas. Develop, implement and monitor policies and procedures and provide guidance to others. To provide advice, assistance and training on all aspects of VDOT's records management program with emphasis on the transfer of records to offsite storage and the proper disposition of all VDOT records in compliance with the Government Data Collection and Dissemination Practices Act and the Critical Infrastructure Information and Sensitive Security information. How you will contribute: - Communications: Communicate with stakeholders to include VDOT staff, state government officials and other diversified groups on matters related to VDOT programs, policies, procedures or projects. - Financial Leadership: Programs are managed to ensure proper financial stewardship of VDOT resources and budgets. - Manage Programs and Projects: Plan, oversee and implement programs or projects related to assigned program area. Oversee staff assignments and priorities. - Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement procedures, processes and best practices.
