Senior Accountant

Job description

The Senior Corporate Accountant is responsible for assisting in the monthly close for their assigned region/markets. You will ensure accuracy and timeliness of the monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Responsibilities: - Review and prepare property billings & revenue recognition - Track billings to ensure all expected billings are completed monthly - Manage and maintain GAAP based general ledgers - Prepares monthly accruals, reclasses, and other required JEs - Prepare balance sheet reconciliations including AR, Pursuit Costs, Deposits, Intercompany, etc. - Updates commissions schedules and calculate commission payments - Understand and abstract new contracts for entry into Oracle - Prepares monthly bank reconciliations for assigned markets - Handles other duties as assigned by Controller Desired Competency, Experience and Skills: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting - 2-3 years of accounting experience; Commercial property accounting preferred - Solid understanding of GAAP financials - Exhibits strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills...
