Position Summary Responsible in the Design Office for Project specific Mechanical Engineering and Design functions. Position Duties and Responsibilities: Will work on planning, design, procurement, and quality of installation of mechanical systems and equipment Responsible for completing project specific objectives on time, under direction of Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer; Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and possible solutions. Prepare specifications for packaged systems and equipment, including pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, exchangers, and other process equipment. Prepare equipment inquiry/RFQ packages. Perform equipment technical bid evaluations and prepare recommendations. Review equipment vendor documents for compliance to project specifications and industry standards.
