Description Licensed Landscape Architect - Public Sector, Site Design, Permitting Lead Ithaca-area landscape architecture projects across campus, municipal, parks, and community-focused environments where client engagement, agency coordination, permitting, and public approvals are central to successful delivery. Guide designers and project teams through concept, documentation, municipal review, construction coordination, and stakeholder-facing work across the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier region. What You’ll Do: - Lead small to mid-size landscape architecture projects from design through production and construction coordination. - Formulate original design concepts, guide designers through execution, and balance design intent with budget and schedule realities. - Coordinate project teams; manage fee, budget, and production scheduling responsibilities. - Conduct client, architectural/A/E, public forum, municipal, and agency meetings as appropriate. - Prepare materials for planning approvals and permits; participate in construction administration, site/client meetings, and Fisher marketing or business development efforts.
