Job Title: Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Immediate Supervisor: Maintenance Manager: Hours: 6am - 2pm. Monday - Friday Pay: $23-$32/ hour (Varies on experience) Summary: The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for assigning, reviewing and participating in the day-to-day operations, mechanical maintenance and repairs of the plant wastewater treatment plant and facilities. Ensures plant is in compliance with state and federal requirements, represents plant operations with government control agencies, ensures work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures, coordinates assigned activities with other departments and outside company agencies, performs the more technical and complex tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.
