Street Construction Supervisor

Job description

Summary Responsible for the supervision of the Street Department’s construction field operations, consisting of various programs – residential streets reconstruction, pavement repair, alley reconstruction, and overlay hybrid. Coordinate, manage and assist with multiple pavement improvement projects constructed with in-house crews. Oversees and inspects in-house and contractor construction work sites to monitor compliance with plans, specifications, city standards and specifications. Pay Range : $ 23.75 - 34.40 (Depending on qualifications and experience) Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned . Supervise all daily activities for assigned in-house construction personnel, which includes prioritizing, assigning, and directing work. Manage personnel actions, coordinates cross-training and various professional development initiatives for assigned staff. Conduct detailed planning, scheduling, and pricing for projects in conjunction with other field supervisors to ensure outputs meet quality, production, and budget goals.
