Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience in imaging system validation, camera testing, or sensor characterization. - Experience with imaging analysis software (e.g., Imatest) and laboratory instrumentation. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP). - 3 years of experience in imaging system validation, camera testing, or sensor characterization. - Experience in software development using Python and Matrix Laboratory. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. About the job: The Imaging Systems Architecture team focuses on research, design, and evaluation of camera systems and technologies for Google's consumer hardware.
