Classification Title: CLIN AST / ASO / FULL PROF - HLA Laboratory Job Description: The Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine invites applications for a faculty position at the Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, non-tenure track, with a focus in Histocompatibility as the Assistant or Associate Director of the HLA laboratory. The HLA Laboratory is an ASHI- and CAP-accredited laboratory that provides around the clock coverage for award-winning transplant programs supporting ~400 transplants a year. Many of the UF Health programs have been nationally recognized for excellent outcomes while transplanting medically, surgically and immunologically complex patients. Along with the UF Health solid organ and bone marrow transplant programs, the laboratory also supports the Ascension Sacred Heart kidney transplant program, and the hospital-based LifeQuest OPO. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the HLA Medical Director in the overall management of the Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics laboratory.
