Painter in a Healthcare Facility Department: Quality Care Rehab: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Capitol Hill Healthcare Center: Description: A Painter in a nursing home or skilled nursing facility is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior aesthetic appearance of the building, ensuring a welcoming, clean, and safe "homelike" environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role involves prepping surfaces, applying paint, repairing drywall, managing inventory, and coordinating work orders to minimize disruption to residents. Physical and Environmental Demands: Environment: Indoor and outdoor work in a nursing home, which may involve working in occupied resident rooms. Physical Activity: Frequent climbing of ladders, scaffolding, and reaching. Requirements: Often requires passing background checks, drug screenings, and TB tests due to working with vulnerable adults.
