Depositary Manager

Job description

Working from our Southampton office, you will be assisting Gen II in carrying out its responsibilities under the depositary requirements of the Alternative Investment Fund Management Directive (AIFMD), namely cash flow monitoring, record keeping and verification of assets and general oversight. What you’ll be doing: - Ensure daily cash flow monitoring of client bank accounts is undertaken - Maintain asset registers and undertake procedures to verify the ownership of those assets - Review of drawdowns and distributions, ensuring the expected procedures have been followed - Quarterly review of management account information, valuations and reconciliations - Review the reconciliations of monthly cash activity - Correspond with clients and intermediaries - Ensure funds are compliant with key underlying fund documentation and that any issues are identified, logged and resolved in a timely manner - Prepare and present periodic client reports - Assist with on-site visits to investment managers and fund administrators - Organising own client portfolio, prioritising workload and dealing with matters in a timely manner - Work effectively within the team but show appropriate levels of initiat...
