Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago Job Description: Job Summary: Primary responsibilities include the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents experiencing psychological problems associated with medical or surgical conditions . Direct clinical services will be integrated into multi-disciplinary medical care teams. Provision of direct , evidence-based patient care may occur in the inpatient units and/or in outpatient medical or behavioral health clinics . The psychologist will work with their assigned medical team to integrate psychosocial and medical services, focused on enhancing optimal patient outcomes.
