CPH has an opening for the following position: Survey Instrument Man. The Survey Instrument Man is responsible for assisting in the collection of field data to support engineering and construction projects. This role involves working closely with a survey crew chief and other team members to operate a variety of surveying equipment, maintain accurate field notes, and perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Duties/Responsibilities: Requirements: - Assist with field data collection using total stations, GPS/GNSS systems, levels, and data collectors - Set up and break down surveying instruments and equipment at job sites - Take clear and accurate field notes, including sketches and descriptions of field conditions - Assist with measurements and stakeout activities for boundaries, topographic surveys, utilities, and construction projects - Ensure proper care, calibration, and organization of survey tools an...
