Your job is more than a job. This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this department. GENERAL DUTIES: Maintains inventory in storerooms and PAR locations: - Monitors, stocks, transports supplies and/or equipment consistent with prescribed policies and procedures. - Uses electronic handheld device to maintain accurate inventory counts and drive replenishment. - Ensures timely delivery of stock/inventory as needed. - Ensures stock expiration is minimized with adherence to stock rotation guidelines and best practices. - Manages inventory which may include min/max review, daily monitoring of item changes, new product implementation, managing item location changes, coordinating item conversions, planning and managing inventory burn-down. - Engages customers on a regular basis to ensure good service. - Maintains the necessary professional presence to effectively interact with clinicians, administrators, colleagues and vendors.
