About the opportunity: The Preop PACU Technician position serves to provide technical and supportive care to patients in the preoperative and post-anesthesia care units. The tech assists nursing staff in preparing patients for surgery, monitoring patients pre- and postoperatively, maintaining a clean and safe environment, transporting patients, and ensuring the availability of equipment and supplies. The role supports smooth workflow and enhances patient safety, comfort, and efficiency in perioperative care. The Preop PACU tech is the first point of contact for the patient and will work closely with the patients, their families, the care team, and leadership in order to address all needs and concerns.
