Position Overview dormakaba is seeking a Controls Technician based in Indianapolis, IN. The Controls Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial automation systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports plant reliability by ensuring PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and other control devices operate safely and efficiently. This position is available on First Shift (6:00AM – 2:30PM) with a base pay range of $34 hr. - $37/hr. Mandatory overtime as needed. $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview) What you will do: - Troubleshoot, repair, and restore functionality of automated machinery and controls systems - Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to control and monitoring systems and perform needed repairs - Test and calibrate systems devices to ensure functional reliability of operating/monitoring systems - Install, modify, and maintain system hardware such as electrical conduit, sensor wiring, power supplies, control system enclosures, etc. - Maintain and operate workstations, including creating/updating, maintaining a point database, and maintaining infrastructure - Program control systems using appro...
