Job description

Arranges priorities, especially for requests that must have very short TAT. Competencies, and * Follows the Hospital and Laboratory policies for Safety which includes proper use of Personal Professional Protective Equipment and Chemicals. - Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed. - Must document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications. - Must be capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and either must contract the problems or immediately notify the supervisor or director. - Must follow the laboratory's established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory, established acceptable levels of performance. - Performs all other duties as required. - Practices clinical science in the specialty of immunohematology, which means is responsible for the examination of specimens taken from the human body to provide information or products for use in the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of a disease. - Fo...
