Senior Staff Software Engineer, Platform Team Do you love tinkering with devices? Have you automated your own home? Do you love to mentor and collaborate with other engineers? If the above holds true for you, then we would love to talk to you! Alarm.com is looking for a versatile Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our Platform team. We’re doing work in smart home technology, video analytics, large scale data processing, and much more. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a variety of technology domains and own projects from design to deployment. In particular, we are looking for somebody who will be an expert on our core platform systems, contributes to the reliability of our production environment, and is able to mentor a small team of engineers. We have a growing engineering department and we’re looking for people that are excited to mentor and collaborate with more junior engineers. You will own projects and you must be able to communicate effectively and blend multiple business needs in your work.
