AIRCRAFT PAINTER (SOC: 51-9122 / SCA: 23050) Location: Patuxent River, MD: Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite Clearance: Top Secret w/ Yankee White Access | CAC required Summary: Provides support for O, I and D-level tasks in support of Presidential Helicopter platforms in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements. Aircraft painter supporting VH-92A, VH-3D, VH-60N, test aircraft and other aircraft periodically hosted by PMA-274. Description: Performs surface preparation, treatment and painting of components, small aircraft surface areas, aircraft panels, support equipment, or other items as required. Demonstrated ability to precisely apply paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin, or other material using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other devices. Masks and covers portions of surfaces not to be painted. Working knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques. Must be knowledgeable of military publications, microfilm, and diagrams.
