Maintenance Technician (night shift)

Job description

Essential Functions: This position is responsible for: - Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Mid Valley Family Foods Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource and sustain improvement. - Conforms to and has department conform to Mid Valley Family Foods quality. - Updates and monitors a preventative maintenance program for the Mid valley Family Foods plant. - Helps relieve and cover maintenance department vacations to minimize overtime. - Coordinates the day-to-day preventative maintenance requirements and must have proficiency in all maintenance. - Through a parts clerk, establishes parts ordering requirements to ensure that adequate supplies of appropriate spare parts are kept in stock. - Assists in troubleshooting as needed on plant equipment. - Performs needed repairs when required.
