Job Summary The Carpenter performs a variety of duties in and around the hospital complex related to framing, cabinet manufacturing, demo and drywall, repairs, and general construction in accordance with DNV standards and applicable codes Job Specific Responsibilities: Daily assignments may include but are not limited to: - Perform all tasks related to the carpentry trade - Ensure compliance with the hospital’s fire and safety codes before, during, and after each work project - Installs commercial door frames and door hardware - Install suspended and hard ceilings - Assist cabinet maker with manufacturing and installation of millwork and solid surface counter tops - Perform general contract labor work - All other related assigned duties Education and Experience: - High school diploma or GED - + 4 years of related experience as a commercial carpenter Skills and Abilities: Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships This position will interact with staff, visitors, and patients - Ability to read blueprints and mechanical...
