ISO New England is the independent system operator responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable flow of electricity in our region and planning for the future of the electric grid. We are at the forefront of New England’s ongoing transition to clean energy. ISO New England is seeking a Operations Forecasting Supervisor to lead a highly specialized team of Forecasters and Data Scientists supporting real-time Control Room Operations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate system demand, weather, and Variable Energy Resource (VER—wind and solar) forecasts that directly inform Day-Ahead and Real-Time market operations and energy settlements across New England. The Supervisor collaborates closely with Operations Management, Forecasters, System Planning load modelers, IT partners, and project teams to advance forecasting capabilities while maintaining strict operational accuracy and reliability standards. Forecasting is a 365-day operation, and this leader ensures full coverage for all forecasting processes, including weekends and holidays.
