Full Time: Days: Shift: Wednesday-Friday 6:30am-7:00pm: 1 week of call at a time required. #ALDIND Job Summary: The Surgical Navigation Technician I provides computer assisted surgical support for surgical cases requiring guided imaging. This support consists of preoperative image management, system set up and start up, intraoperative technical support, and system closedown and clean up. This role collaborates with all clinical leadership and works under the direction of the surgeon while in the operating room. Minimum Education: Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program accredited by Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (CAAHEP) or by the State. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Certified through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association. Work Experience: None.
