Material Processor Lead Weekends (Inventory)

Assurant is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Processor Lead to support inventory operations and team leadership at our Irving facility. This role plays a critical part in maintaining workflow efficiency, ensuring inventory accuracy, and fostering team engagement. As our department grows, this lead position will help bridge operational needs and employee development, providing hands-on guidance and escalation support. This role is located at the Irving, TX DCC with a schedule of Friday - Sunday 6am to 6:30 pm. What will be my duties and responsibilities be in this job? Working knowledge of shop floor systems (CVision, Oracle, Unit Tracker, Great Plains, Ghost) Participate in daily stand-up meetings with Supervisor Participate in internal and external customer or vendor meetings Work with the supervisor to reallocate resources (people/supplies/products etc.) as needed to meet customer goals Work with other departments as needed to ensure proper workflow is achieved Point of contact for employees for handling escalation issues Work with Engineering to identify and resolve process issues Ability to collaborate with other departments with their area of responsibility Tra...
