Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Construction Field Technician (Entry to Junior Level) to join our team in Bridgeville, PA. In this role, you will perform a variety of field observation and testing services for geotechnical and environmental development projects, serving a diverse client base in both the private and public sectors. Key responsibilities include: - Monitoring and testing the moisture and density of soils using a nuclear density testing gauge. - Testing concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials. - Observing and documenting construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications. - Preparing daily field reports and test summaries to document work performed. Requirements: Technicians require the ability and willingness to work almost entirely outdoors, perform extensive fieldwork and travel significant distances to project sites. Overtime may be required, depending on the project. GTA will reimburse you for mileage and tolls and pay you "time and a half" for overtime!
