The Department of Environmental Services (DES) is seeking innovative and strategic leaders to serve as Transportation Capital Programs Managers within the Transportation Planning and Capital Projects Management (TPCPM) Bureau of the Division of Transportation. Arlington's current 10-year Capital Improvement Program includes more than $600 million in transportation project investments advancing a Complete Streets vision across commercial corridors, non-commercial corridors, and neighborhoods. This position leads one of the Transportation Capital Projects Program teams, managing four to five professional staff responsible for implementing transportation projects that support Arlington County’s vision for its transportation network: People of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities can move safely, comfortably, and seamlessly in Arlington.
