Job description

Position Overview: The Attendance Specialist is responsible for providing child attendance reporting for multiple sites including private and subsidized programs. The position requires communication and coordination with Enrollment Specialists, Center Leaders, and others to ensure compliance of attendance data to state contracts and company policy. Key Responsibilities: Attendance Support - Reviews children's attendance timesheets and transfers attendance data into database - Audits for missing timesheets, missing schedules, missing info (incorrect hours, days, etc.) - Works with center staff including Center Leaders and Teaching staff and/or Enrollment Specialists to correct attendance timesheets Reporting: - Creates and distributes Best Interest Days/Unexcused Absence Report - Audits Category Report to ensure all children are reported correctly in the database - Ensures the children are reported in the correct contract through audit of the Contract Enrollment Report - Provides Recertification Report for Enrollment Specialists and Center Leaders - Corrects scheduled and attendance for the months prior to ensure reporting is accurate Data Compliance Support: - Audits monthly Third...
