Requisition Id 16157 Overview: The Information Technology Services Directorate (ITSD) in the Digital Services Infrastructure and Operations Division at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is seeking qualified applications for the position of Network Engineer. The position’s primary work duties are network engineering, system administration, and providing technical consulting to various work-for-others projects. Major Duties/Responsibilities: - Management Cisco Identify Service Engine (ISE), Networking operations. - Network design, configuration and troubleshooting. - Lead daily secure operations of the network enclaves. - Provide coordination, notification, escalation and documentation to resolve events/issues, efficiently minimizing customer impact. - Interface with and provide outage reports to various levels of management. - Assist with other tasks as needed or as assigned by management. - Ensure systems are configured and maintained per cyber security common control requirements so that accreditation is retained. - Create and maintain infrastructure documentation as it relates to infrastructure systems design, configuration, support, and processes. - Identify, create, comm...
