Job Description Summary: This role involves designing, building, and managing the BCBSA Network Infrastructure and Cloud environments. The role ensures data security and network reliability by implementing best practices. Responsibilities include planning and leading network projects, designing network architectures, and integrating new technologies. The engineer also evaluates new products, resolves network issues, and maintains technical documentation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Provide expertise and recommend solutions to address business needs related to network systems. Interpret customer requirements through feedback, analysis, and interviews. - Implement and deploy network systems designs. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network systems implementation. Develop and communicate standard operating procedures and network documentation. - Establish strategic network systems architecture by developing detailed corporate standards and processes necessary for systems design. - Gather requirements from business partners to design solutions that meet business needs.
