Overview Job Summary: Promote high quality cost effective medical care, patient satisfaction, and healthcare provider/staff satisfaction throughout Huntsville Hospital by facilitating the efficient use of computers and clinical information technologies. Responsibilities include: In collaboration with the CNO, Nurse Managers for Patient Care Services, Ancillary Department Mangers/Directors, the Director of Information Services, and the CIO, provides leadership and strategic direction for clinical informatics programs for patient services and related programs. Serve as interface with the clinical staff, appropriate departments and committees for the purpose of ensuring coordination in planning, development, implementation and ongoing support of new and existing clinical informatics initiatives. Responsible for the overall coordination, implementation and support of clinical informatics changes and services, particularly to address the clinical needs of the patients and support the practice of the clinical staff.
