Starting Wage Range: $24.59/hr. - $31.83/hr. Job Summary: Assists the clinical providers in caring for patients of the medical clinic. Provides quality health care in a warm and caring environment. Ensures that the provision of healthcare services takes place in a professional non-biased environment and is accomplished efficiently. Essential Functions: - Assists medical professional staff in providing medical care to patients of the medical clinic - Sets up exam rooms for appropriate patient - Assists patients into examination - Obtains patient vitals e. blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc. - Obtains chief complaint (presenting problem). - Assists with surgical - Assists with casting, suturing, wound debridement, and - Accurately records patient information in their health - Performs diagnostic testing on patients per medical provider’s - Maintains knowledge of infection control issues for proper - Follows OSHA - Administers injections per written/verbal order - Administers immunizations, allergy shots, and other injectable - Assesses patient for adverse - Maintains frequent contact with - Communicates with other departments and outside programs to coordinate specialty care re...
