Summary: Performs technical laboratory procedures in the reproductive clinical laboratory. The embryologist assists with all laboratory duties related to IVF as needed and other duties as assigned by leadership within the laboratory. Job Description: A sampling of some of the specialized procedures that may be performed includes, but is not limited to gamete preparation, embryo culture, cryopreservation, embryo micromanipulation, semen analysis. Knowledge of current laboratory procedures to perform laboratory tests and procedures, and to communicate with medical staff regarding laboratory procedures and results.
