Registered Respiratory Therapist - 6pm-6:30am Job Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapists perform evaluations and in accordance with physician orders/protocols, administers respiratory care treatments. The RRT provides education to patients with cardiopulmonary disabilities, injuries, and/or diseases. Responsibilities: Assembles, checks for proper function, identifies malfunctions of equipment, and takes action to correct malfunctions of equipment., Collects and evaluates additional pertinent clinical information by assessing patient’s overall cardiopulmonary status., Conducts therapeutic procedures to achieve adequate spontaneous and artificial ventilation., Conducts therapeutic procedures to achieve maintenance of patient airway, including the care of artificial airways and to achieve removal of bronchial pulmonary secretions., Determines the appropriateness of prescribed respiratory care plan, recommends modifications where indicated, and participates in development of respiratory care plan., Evaluates and monitors patient’s response to respiratory c...
