Laborer I - 90 Days STS (Boston Region) - ( 2600033Y ) Description Start/End Dates: 5/17/2026 to 9/7/2026 (90 days) Work Hours: 37.5 hours – Varied work shifts, including weekends and holidays required. Location: Boston Region Office 165 Day Boulevard, South Boston, MA Roles will be assigned within the North Region locations (Wollaston Beach, Castle Island, Esplanade, or Shannon Beach) . Assignment may rotate among multiple locations and travel between start parks/forest may be required. The Department of Conservation and Recreation is seeking laborers to support seasonal high profile events scheduled at our parks this summer. This position is central to delivering exceptional visitor experiences during major statewide and international events, including Tall Ships 2026, Massachusetts 250 (MA250) commemorations, FIFA World Cup Watch Parties, and other large-scale public gatherings. Salaries are based upon full-time/37.5 hours worked per week. Work schedules and days off are at the discretion of the Supervisor. This position may require working weekends and/or holidays.
