Senior Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

The Role We are looking for a Senior small animal vet to join our fabulous team at Park Issa! We have a broad caseload of medical and surgical cases and do our own basic orthopaedics including lateral suture and MMP cruciate repair, patella luxation and simple fractures. This is a perfect role for a Vet who is looking to work in a supportive environment. This part time role working 28 hours per week 8:30am-6:30pm Monday/Tuesday/Friday occasionally with in-patient cover- very minimal involvement by the vet, just being aware if the nurse has a patient in. One in 8 weekends (Saturday shift 8:30am-4:30pm) Very infrequently needed for inpatients as we have a team of experienced nurses at the practice 24/7 but help may be required covering Friday evening until Monday morning. Some of our vets do cover out-of-hours shifts but the majority of the time this is covered by VetsNow. The salary is up to £53,000 per annum, depending on experience.
