IT Service Desk Technician Bristol Area up to £23,000 Seeking a motivated Service Desk Technician with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to join a leading IT specialist company in the South West of the UK. Be part of a skilled team in various technologies, ensuring smooth computer operations for end users. Respond promptly to help requests, utilize diagnostic tools, and provide hands-on assistance. Strong customer-facing skills are a must. Responsibilities: - Diagnose service issues encompassing internet connectivity, backups, and telephony. - Address connectivity problems across diverse technologies (broadband, ADSL, FTTC, FTTP, etc.). - Conduct preventive maintenance, including checking and cleaning servers, desktops, laptops, and devices at both software and hardware levels. - Offer recommendations for continual service improvement and analyse trends to prevent recurring issues. - Alert management to emerging incident trends and deploy pre-packaged software through automated deployment.
