Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Job Summary: Performs all echocardiography lab exams. Provides quality patient care using lab physiological and ultrasound equipment. Assists with clinical rotations in both in-patient and out-patient settings as the schedule dictates and participates in after hours and on-call services. Essential Functions: All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Performs most modalities of echocardiography (i.e. 2-D, M-Mode, Doppler, and color flow Doppler imaging, as well as assists with qualified physician with TEE procedures). Performs lab procedures using independent judgement during the exam to accurately differentiate between normal and abnormal findings. Exams must follow IAC approved scanning protocol and the Smart Protocols must be utilized when possible. Reviews images and paperwork to ensure quality exams are complete, thorough and prepared for review by reading physicians Rotates to multiple lab locations as scheduled and required by the IAC.
