Job DetailsJob Location: ASA Lexington - Lexington, KY 40511Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Summary Responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and related components in accordance with NFPA standards, local codes, and manufacturer requirements. Conduct functional and visual testing of alarm panels, initiating devices, and notification appliances, including audible and strobe light devices. Verify proper operation of fire alarm control panels, detectors, pull stations, and notification circuits. Document inspection findings, deficiencies, and recommendations accurately using company reporting systems. Identify and communicate system deficiencies or repair needs to customers and service teams. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
