As a major restructure, the new role will work as part of a team to proactively lead the process of business establishment and team development with regard to all aspects of Process safety engineering. They will need to liaise with senior management, other functional managers, support services, and third parties to deliver the business’ objectives overcoming any issues that may occur. A key personal attribute being flexibility and an ability to adapt to ever changing demands. To be technically proficient in all areas of process safety eg HAZOP, PHA etc. They will be fully accountable for the legislative compliance in the field of pressure regs, PUWER, LOLER,HAZOP,PHA Equipment compliance and all appropriate safety legislation.
