Maintenance Technician/Certified Pool Operator The Maintenance Technician/Certified Pool Operator is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of swimming pools and spas while also performing custodial and porter duties to keep facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. This dual role ensures water quality meets all regulatory standards, equipment functions properly, and common areas remain clean, sanitized, and fully stocked. What do we offer?: Compensation: $22/hr; direct experience highly considered. Key Responsibilities: · Monitor, test, and adjust water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, stabilizers). · Operate and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders. · Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient pool operations. · Backwash filters, clean strainers, and ensure proper circulation and turnover rates. · Maintain pool decks and surrounding areas in a clean and orderly condition. · Safely handle, store, and apply pool chemicals in compliance with all regulations. · Maintain required logs and documentation for regulatory compliance and inspections. · Assist with pool opening/closing procedures and equi...
