Director, Entrepreneurial Initiatives and Community Relations - 26001HE Description: J ob Summary: Directs and develops entrepreneurial initiatives at HCC by developing partnerships with community partners, serving as a Lead to various programs, and facilitating the development of a culture of innovation and creativity which promotes and grows entrepreneurship in Houston. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Direct, plan and coordinate entrepreneurial program(s) for the local community and build the Center for Entrepreneurship. Host entrepreneurial and innovative events on campus and in collaboration with strategic partners. Promote entrepreneurial activities at HCC. Collaborate with College personnel and Administrative Officers to gather entrepreneurial success stories to promote HCC. Work collaboratively with and in alignment with all Centers of Excellence, cluster deans and workforce deans. Collaborate with appropriate District Communications Office staff (HCC-TV, HCC Web, Print and eMedia, and Community Development) to develop consistent and compelling messaging using all HCC and commercial mediums available.
