Job description

The Systems Administrator is responsible for the stability, security, and performance of Gelson’s enterprise infrastructure across retail, warehouse, and corporate environments. This hybrid role is weighted toward Systems Administration and Network Administration, with key responsibilities in server infrastructure, virtualization, backup/recovery, automation, and identity management. They maintain the computing environment by identifying system requirements, installing upgrades, monitoring system performance, and participating in research and development to continuously improve and keep up with the IT business needs of their organization. System administrators also actively resolve problems and issues with computer and server systems to limit work disruptions within the company: The position supports a collaborative infrastructure environment across Gelson’s, Marukai, Vanshow, and PPRM Hawaii, while maintaining standardized, ITIL-aligned operational practices.
