Job description

Department: Randy Owen Center for the Performing Arts Salary: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour (maximum 26 hours per week) Schedule: Shifts vary based on performance schedule. Position Summary: This position is responsible for the setup, operation, and changeover of technical systems during rehearsals and performances, ensuring high-quality audio and seamless production support. Duties may include live mixing for performers and/or orchestra, as well as the setup and maintenance of backstage systems, intercoms, and audio and video monitors. The role requires working knowledge of equipment typical of modern sound systems, including wired and wireless technologies, audio-over-IP systems such as the Dante protocol, and frequency coordination; experience with Open Sound Control or recording is a plus. Familiarity with lighting systems, including LED and moving lights, as well as control platforms like the EOS family and DMX over Ethernet, is preferred.
