This position performs precision grinding, finishing, and repair of metal vessel components to meet quality and safety standards. This role involves detailed surface preparation, seam blending, and inspection activities including dye checks and post-treatment repairs. The team member is responsible for accurately interpreting specifications, applying appropriate grinding techniques, and ensuring cosmetic and structural integrity of welded and fitted areas. Working with minimal supervision, this role requires strict adherence to safety procedures, proper use of PPE, and consistent documentation of quality control measures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Grind head to shell seams with few digs/lumps/hook marks up to 180 grit - Repair holes in non-code vessel seams/head seams/fitting - Conduct re-dye checks - Fill out the necessary traveler line for QC - Up to 180 or 30 Ra (roughness average) max grinding - Apply crisp tape line around taped fittings - Find and remove arc marks...
