Job description

Job Title: Material Handler Job Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load and unload materials and productions within the manufacturing facility. Responsibility: - Safely operate forklifts to move materials, products and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility - Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage areas, ensuing that materials are handled with care - Transport raw materials and packing to production lines and finishes goods to designated storage or shipping areas - Empty scrap metal bins as required - Ensure materials are properly stacked, secured and stored to prevent damage or accidents - Entering shipping and receiving information into applicable computer software and programs as required - Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations and other safety standards Academic/Educational Requirements: - High school diploma or qualification Required Skills/Experience: - Valid Forklift Certificate - 1-2 years operation counterbalance forklifts and other material handling equipment, preferably in a manufacturing environment What Linamar Has to Offer: - Competitive Compensation -...
