JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for provision and administration of physical and occupational therapy treatments only under the direct supervision of the staff physical/occupational therapist. Rehabilitation technician assists with the restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability under direction of the supervising physical/occupational therapy professional staff. Rehabilitation technician assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while working with the families, guardians and care givers to assist for carryover of care. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education: - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Current BLS certification. Minimum Work Experience: - Zero or more years experience in Rehabilitation Therapy. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Prepares and manages treatment area for patient use consistently. - Demonstrates competent communication with all patient populations and ages. - Communicates any changes in patient condition (physical or cognitive) to the supervising rehabilitation professional therapist, nursing personnel and other facility personnel as appropriate. - Demonstrates competency with thera...
