Job Description – Staff Bridge Engineer Pennoni is hiring! Pennoni is looking for passionate Staff Bridge Engineer to join our collaborative, fun team on a full time, direct basis in Pennoni’s Transportation Bridge Team located in our Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD offices. Primary Responsibilities: - Perform structural analysis and/or design of Bridges (Highway & Railroad), Culverts, Retaining Walls, and Overhead Sign Structures on a variety of projects (bridge replacement/rehabilitation, highway improvement, etc.); this includes multi-disciplinary projects for MDSHA, MDTA, DDOT, DelDOT, PennDOT, VDOT and other agencies/bridge owners throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. - Perform NBIS Bridge inspections in Maryland and DC as well as the surrounding states (with occasional opportunities for domestic travel). - Produce high-quality technical writing for use in bridge inspection reports, specifications, studies, and other engineering documents. - Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed.
