The Mortgage Review Officer / Senior Credit Analyst (CA) is responsible for performing quality reviews of mortgage loan decisions processed through Scotia Mortgage Authority (SMA), Home Financing Solutions (HFS), and Branch Channels to ensure consistent, quality decisions are being made by the adjudication staff within appropriate risk policies and identifying trends to improve service to all customers. You will ensure adherence to Bank regulations, security procedures and policies through a pre-funding review of all mortgages. The CA will escalate all non-adherence mortgage deficiencies to the Broker Relationship Manager (BRM), Home Financing Lending Manager (HFLM), and Financial Advisor (FA), as well as all administrative findings. The CA will also communicate to their respective Manager, Credit Review, and Senior Manager any findings that require immediate attention and remediation for compliance issues.
