Job DetailsJob Location: Lebanon, OH 45036Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $15.00 - $15.50 HourlyPOSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Under the guidance of the Senior Program Director-Aquatics, the Aquatic Lifeguard Coordinator is responsible for the direct supervision of Lifeguards, control and safety of members and participants during swim lessons, recreational and lap swimming. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides direct supervision and scheduling of Lifeguards and maintains high safety standards in the observance of lifeguards and YASAs who are monitoring a Countryside YMCA aquatic facility. Ensures guards and YASAs are complying with their job requirements and providing excellent customer service to members. Knows/reviews all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations immediately in accordance with YMCA policies, procedures, and the “safe-in-six” model.
