Job Summary The Inbound Logistics Planner is responsible for the seamless orchestration of freight movement, equipment availability, and carrier execution for all domestic inbound shipments to Genesco distribution centers. This includes planning and routing freight across multiple modes—Less Than Truckload (LTL), Truckload (TL), Intermodal, and Fleet Operations. This role plays a key part in managing yard activity, coordinating drayage, and ensuring equipment fluidity at transload facilities. The Planner will also collaborate closely with the Routing & Transportation Analyst to support the analysis of logistics data, evaluate market trends, and identify cost and service improvement opportunities. Job Responsibilities: Inbound Freight Planning, Yard Management & Execution Carrier, Vendor & 3PL/Warehouse Relationship Management - Route and ensure on-time delivery of inbound shipments for all Genesco divisions across the U.S. and Canada. - Review daily drayage and yard reports from 3PLs, transload facilities, and distribution centers to monitor container availability, inbound/return status, and loaded/empty trailers; execute corrective actions to maintain yard and equipment fluidity....
