Position Summary The Housekeeping Staff member is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment throughout the animal hospital. This role is essential in supporting infection control, ensuring compliance with health standards, and contributing to the comfort and well-being of patients, clients, and staff. Key Responsibilities: - Clean and disinfect exam rooms, kennels, and common areas according to hospital protocols - Properly dispose of medical and general waste, including biohazard materials, in compliance with regulations - keep hospital grounds well kept and clear of any trash/ animal waste - Launder and restock linens, towels, and protective equipment - Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces regularly - Clean and maintain restrooms and staff areas - Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and notify management of shortages - Assist with odor control and ensure proper ventilation practices - Follow strict infection control and safety procedures, especially around animals and hazardous materials - Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred - Previous housekeepi...
